Please read our Ministry Description:
The Valley Care Pregnancy Centre is a private, registered
Canadian Charity. We are multi-denominational in scope and
supported solely by churches, corporations and individuals
and the fund-raising efforts of the Centre staff and
volunteers. We are an outreach ministry of Jesus Christ to
women and their partners / families in crisis pregnancies as an alternative to abortion.
We accomplish this task by providing pregnancy tests,
emotional, physical, spiritual and material support as well
as peer counselling. These services are given confidentially
and free of charge
to our clients.
We understand the many difficulties facing young, pregnant
women in need as well as their partners and families, and we are prepared to help these women with
life affirming alternatives. It is our position that every
abortion claims an innocent human life. We also explain why
"safe-sex" outside marriage is a myth, and teach
that abstinence before marriage is the only 100% safe,
effective method of birth control.
We are often invited to give abstinence presentations
to middle schools, high school and university students throughout
the Annapolis Valley of Nova Scotia using the
internationally renowned program called, "WAIT
Training."
Through our WAIT Training, we reach thousands of
teenagers in both church settings and schools. With the
ever-increasing number of sexually transmitted
diseases and abortions, it is of extreme importance that we
give our young people a clear message on sexuality and the
support they need to develop strong, healthy relationships.
Our goals are to impart skills to help everyone have healthy
relationships, to LIVE WELL, LOVE WELL and if they choose,
to MARRY WELL.

Our Mission: In accordance with our Christian worldview and
in partnership with the Christian Community, we uphold the
Sanctity of human life through the creation of a loving,
learning, redemptive and supportive ministry environment as
it pertains to pregnancy, adoption, abortion, post-abortion
syndrome trauma and sexual integrity.
Our Mission
is Jesus Christ. Our Mission field is abortion and
sexual brokenness.
